My story

                       I am poor but rich in pride and that makes me happy.
       I Wear my pride cap when being tired of standing under people's pride shade.
     I am proud to be who I am, and feel elated when being characterized as a Haitian,
                  because being Haitian is being a combative individual.
                   My tenacity to succeed in life is as grandiose as my.
                  

Love is my religion

It spiritually wraps my soul.

I was raised and baptized a Christian,

But when I grew up and could make my own decision of religion, I chose LOVE.

My mom, and dad thought I was being rebellious when I stopped showing up to the Baptist Church; which I frequented until I shifted to love as my main belief. 

Love is my religion,

It does not matter which superhuman spirit you worship;

Or religion you associate yourself with. 

I chose love, because it's the foundation of every religion; I suppose.

You can take it, or leave it, 

You don't have to believe it

Love is what I take pride in preaching,

And I don't have any problem if I am hated for the practice of altruism.

The Paradox of fire

It generates life and eliminates living things. 

Fire is life and death. 

Its burning flame is very destructive, 

But keeps me warm in the winter.

The heat that it produces burns up my epidermis,

But can be utilized to prepare my food.

Hearing it being pronounced in certain phrases such as,

"Bring on the FIRE!!!" energizes me, 

But hearing it on the mews kills my joy and destroys my contentment. 

Your Love

Your love is tempestuous;

Lips are irresistible,

Body's marvelous,

Webster Dictionary needs to update its definition of beauty,

Because you're aesthetic; and

To be brief you are the definition of beauty.

I want to be with you, but I'm afraid of your impalpable love.

Your love, support, and kinship
Are everything that I need at once.

I emerge

                                            I emerge

I am bigger than my body.

My love and deep emotions are stronger than my frail muscles.

I emerge from crying for missing your presence,

To neglecting your existence

It’s difficult to erase your beautiful visage in my memory,

 But still I manage to conceal the melancholy.

Now I comprehend what you meant when you said,

 “I’ll try my best to keep your eyes immersed”.

I was little, but didn’t lose the maturity that I channeled from being lonely.

Condemn For life (Assault on Eggs)

         Well, as y’all guys may know I am very addicted to the media, mostly the news and all, so last night while watching the Night Line News I heard something that I think is very unjust to many Duncan Doughnut cooks, it’s being announced that chef Larry Crumble  will be prosecuted and condemn to life for beating the hell out of many Eggs throughout his career as a chef.

Christmas Letter to my cousin

Dear Carline,

      How are you? I want to take advantage of this occasion to wish you a joyous Christmas. I hope you enjoy every second of it and may God preserve your life and keep you healthy throughout the next coming years. I also want to thank you for being a caring cousin. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

My definition of the American Dream

         American Dream, People from different backgrounds and distinct need view
the American dream differently. Generally an American born would think of
the American Dream as being prosperous, having a widespread reputation, and
success. Success is the most common characteristic that American born and
individuals from different countries particularly think about when talking
about the American Dream. Being a Haitian born and having the opportunity
to learn about different cultures enlightens my view of what it really
means and how people picture the American Dream distinctively.
           For certain people their American Dream might be a visa to come to America, an alien card, or a citizenship, meaning that the American Dream does not have a specific signification, people have variant desires and so when obtaining the things that they desire it literally means that their American Dream has come to reality. In other words, the American Dream is acquiring the cupidity, and the strong desires. Evidently when someone acquires anything that she/he wishes for, that particular item or wish is most of the time symbolizes the triumph for the individual, because of the fact that it brings the extreme contentment out of that person, and during this particular time the individual is serene due to his/her accomplishment.
         People are disappointed when they do not get what they wished for, for
instance my father’s American Dream has been pushed back many times due to
the fact that before emigrated from Haiti to America, he applied for a visa
at least three or four times and he did not get what he wished for until
November second 2007, and so all these times he spent setting up
appointments and applying for a visa to come to the United States and got
rejected represent the disappointments that he generated all throughout,
before he was finally provided with a visa to come to the U.S.; and that
day he received the visa he was very triumphant.
