23 countries that Haitian citizens can travel to without a visa.

Here are 23 countries that Haitian citizens can travel to without a visa.

Imagine being Haitian and not knowing that you can travel to other countries other than the United States, Canada, France, Chile, Brazil and Dominican Republic.

How does an individual consider and eventually in their right mind choose a country to immigrate to and reside in? Everyone has their own criteria:

Some may ask those questions

  1. How easy is it to find a job?

  2.  What are the conditions for children's education?

  3.  and how low are tax rates for business?

There is no universal way to compare countries and decide where to move to permanent residence.

Haitian citizens can travel to certain countries without a visa for tourism or short stays. It's important to note that visa requirements can change, so it's essential to check with the respective country's embassy or consulate before planning any international travel. Here's a list of some countries Haitian citizens can often visit without a visa:

As of July 2023, Haitian passport holders can travel visa free to 23 Countries and territories:

  1. Barbados 🇧🇧 - Haitians can stay in Barbados for up to 6 months without a visa.

which is Not in the top 50 of the GDP list. Before we proceed with the list.

WHAT IS GDP? You may ask.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the standard measure of the value added created through the production of goods and services in a country during a certain period. As such, it also measures the income earned from that production, or the total amount spent on final goods and services.

  1. Cook Islands 🇨🇰 - Not in the top 50.

  2. Dominica 🇩🇲 - Not in the top 50.

  3. Hong Kong 🇭🇰 - Not in the top 50, BUT. and that’s a FAT BUT; Hong Kong is geo-politically well positioned for people like Haitians to move to. It’s connected to China. Nou konn pwoveb la deja, “Pami diri ti roche goute gres.” This is a Haitian proverb which literally means, "because of rice, little rocks taste oil." Hong Kong being connected to China definitely allows people in Hong Kong to benefit anything that the Chinese people are benefiting.

  4. Indonesia 🇮🇩 - Ranked 15th. ⭐

  5. Israel 🇮🇱 - Ranked 32nd. ⭐

  6. Malaysia 🇲🇾 - Ranked 38th. ⭐️ [ Haitian passport holders can enter Malaysia without a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism.]

  7. Micronesia 🇫🇲 - Not in the top 50.

  8. Niue 🇳🇺 - NOT in the top 50.

  9. Palestine 🇵🇸 - Not in the top 50.

  10. Philippines 🇵🇭 - Ranked 32nd. ⭐

  11. Rwanda 🇷🇼 - Not in the top 50, but RWANDA is my top favorite, due to its fast growing economy. ⭐

In 2023, it is predicted six African countries will be in the top fast-growing economies, with Libya at (17.9%), Senegal at (8.1%), Niger at (7.3%), DRC at (6.7%), Rwanda at (6.7%) and Cote d'Ivoire at (6.5%).

  1. Senegal 🇸🇳 - Ranked 86th. ⭐

  2. Singapore 🇸🇬 - Ranked 37th. ⭐

  3. South Korea 🇰🇷 - Ranked 11th. ⭐

  4. Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 - Ranked 66th. ⭐

  5. Suriname 🇸🇷 - Not in the top 50.

  6. Taiwan 🇹🇼 - Ranked 21st. ⭐

  7. Gambia 🇬🇲 - Not in the top 50.

  8. Turkey: Haitian passport holders can enter Turkey for up to 90 days within a 180-day period without a visa for tourism purposes.

  9. Saint Kitts and Nevis: This Caribbean nation allows Haitian citizens to stay for up to 90 days without a visa..

  10. Antigua and Barbuda: Haitian citizens can visit this Caribbean nation for up to 90 days without a visa.

  11. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: This Caribbean country allows Haitian passport holders to stay for up to 30 days without a visa.

Dominican Republic: The neighboring Dominican Republic often allows Haitian citizens to enter for short visits without a visa due to their shared border. [That isn’t true anymore]. And if you guys are paying attention you should know how untrue this statement is today].

Note:

For visa-free travels, you still must have a valid passport — usually six months after your departure date— and you must purchase travel health insurance as required by your destination country.

Regarding the question of why some Haitians might choose to migrate to these countries as a much better option instead of the United States, it's a complex decision influenced by various factors:

  • Proximity: Geographical proximity may make it more accessible for Haitians to move to neighboring countries like the Dominican Republic.

  • Cultural Affinities: Cultural similarities with Caribbean nations might make integration and adaptation easier.

  • Economic Opportunities: These countries may offer job opportunities in specific sectors or industries that are attractive to Haitian migrants.

  • Language: Language can be a barrier, and some Caribbean nations have Creole or French as an official language, which Haitians may be more comfortable with.

  • Visa Policies: The ease of obtaining visas or entry requirements can play a significant role in deciding where to migrate.

  • Family and Community Ties: Existing family or community networks in these countries may provide support for new arrivals.

It's important to note that the decision to migrate is highly individual and depends on personal circumstances, goals, and resources. While the United States remains a popular destination for many, other countries may offer unique advantages depending on an individual's situation and aspirations.

My story

I am poor but rich in pride and that makes me happy.
I Wear my pride cap when being tired of standing under people's pride shade.
I am proud to be who I am, and feel elated when being characterized as a Haitian,
because being Haitian is being a combative individual.
My tenacity to succeed in life is as grandiose as my.

The world's most dangerous virus/disease/plague is the War on Religion

I am not a historian nor am I a doctor, but one thing I know is that so many lives young and mature have been lost.
Since the beginning of civilization *we have been fighting over this thing called religion.
and still today we keep on fighting over the same thing.
Although now it might be mixed with a lot of -isms and of course interests, such as oil and other natural resources in countries which are 'potentially dangerous' or maybe have 'dangerous people'. Most of us who are not stereotypically judging certainly know or are very familiar with the whole idea of singling out Muslims as terrorists, the Middle Eastern region as the epitome of hell on Earth.
I wish *we could all realize the symptoms and cure this deadly virus before we exterminate the human race over a simple 'myth,' religion.

Rest In peace Gaddafi

BBC please let the man rest in peace. I thought you [bbc] would keep people informed and educated. Have you ever talked about Gaddafi's Green Book; In which he offered free education, free healthcare, and free land to farmers and multiple opportunities for the people of Libya. I use to rely on you BBC for unbiased and unfiltered information. What happened BBC? FYI, western "Democracy" is the new dictatorship. I think I still follow this medium just to get a laugh, since cartoons and comedians aren't funny anymore. Wake up BBC.

I'm on a College Budget

Five pajamas, two flip flops, and a some sweats are now the necessities.
I used to spend one hundred dollars on a pair of J's, but now I can only afford to pay for some PJ's.
I always wondered how do one begin budgeting, but now I am here living the reality.
I used to have prestigious wine, and fine rice but now Ramen Noodles and Capri Suns are my only refuge from going broke. I am on a college budget not because I choose to, but the budget chooses me. I used to get a shapeup hairline almost every other week, but this college budget makes me want to grow some dreadlocks. I never liked writing, nor did I used to record daily activities and stories but this college budget inspires me to write a plethora of top ramen noodles narratives.
I'm on a college budget and yet I do not plan to major in money management.

I'm from

I am from a place where most people wants to escape.
Escape the misery, tribulation, and the poverty.
It’s not the richest place in the Western Hemisphere,
But it has helped me with cultivating so much.
So much that money cannot afford.
I do not have anything to complain about,
Because where I am from teaches me to be strong.
I am from a place where gratis is with a price.
A place where the government does not subsidize nor care about assisting its people.
I am from a place where do it myself and all by myself is obligated.
I am from a place where our wherewithal is our stoicism.
It cannot be taught, but somehow I learn to cultivate fortitude.
I am from a place where most people wants to escape;
And like everyone else I escape with my family multiple times,
Even though I am forced to live under the multicultural shade
Where I am from will always be coded in my DNA.
FYI, I am originally from Haiti.

The Role of Art in Communities

In my opinion "Art" does not have a role in a culture, but plays every role because of the fact that art is ubiquitous. It can be found anywhere within a particular culture; although people have different interpretation of the art. A couple of common roles of art in cultures are symbolism and memory, but if digging deeper into one piece of art it might reveal more than two memories and demonstrate more than one role in a culture. I watched a documentary titles "Waste Land"  by a Brazilian artist, Vik Muniz, from which he reunited a very disgustingly dirty community, which is one of the most populated cities in the World and has the world's  largest garbage dump. In this documentary Vik did not only demonstrate and challenge the familiar notions of art in this community, but he brought hope back to the people of that community.
Art is like the oxygen that we are constantly breathing in; it's omnipresent, except that it's in different forms, different interpretation and representations.

Love can sometimes turn into hate

Girl I thought you understood me;
me telling you how much I love you.
I try to make time for you,
plan to spend time with you but you avoid my reasons for missing you.
You've certainly asked me once "why do I love?" and my response was, because my heart tells me.
It's indeed that we haven't spent too much time together, but I'll give the credit for making me knowing you through your stupid actions.
I blame myself for wasting seconds, minutes, hours, and days of my faculty of thinking on you; I guess sometimes one who's not used to be love doesn't deserve to be loved.
This is just my perspective, and whatever you think of me as being a traitor or a liar, I surely do love you but I hate the fact that you are wasting my time, and the love that I am trying to share with you.
I am mad, but not sad. I don't hate you, nor will I ever do; but I hate the way you act towards me. Love can sometimes turn into hate, and I would hate to say that I hate you because I will never hate the same facade that you attracted my with when I first met you. I will always love you but I am sorry to tell you that I hate how you treat me.

Youth United for the Environmental Turnaround 2012

Usually young people like us teenagers, we need to have adults and mentors in our lives in order to help us remain on the right track and comport ourselves well; but sometimes young children like us can make big differences in our community, and even challenge adults to change their ways in order to protect their own future like Severn Suzuki spoke her mind at the UN Earth Summit in 1992. Earlier this summer at the Upward Bound preparatory program, my English teacher introduces Human Rights as one of the major complements of the class; and she focuses a lot on domestic oppression as well as the implication of the United States on other countries’ soil.
This conference will help a lot with understanding the content of my English class, due to the fact that it will accentuate on many important issues such as environmental justice, sustainable transportation, anti-racism/anti-oppression, and many more which englobe the definition and the violation of human rights. And also having young children as the vehicle to circulate the message will strongly and positively affect the audience for whom the message is being delivered since older individuals do not usually expect young children to think about those matters. Nowadays, even though a lot of people are striving to efface the image of racism in many others’ heads but it is still a doctrine that is hard for many to get detach from. As an optimist I surely believe that with the help of teens and hearing their stories that will certainly exemplify and enhance the fact that racism is bad and it pollutes interracial amities. Not only that, but it creates turmoils in many communities.
